Northern California has many great places to get away. One of the most popular is Shasta Lake. Its thirty thousand acres of clear water surround hundreds of miles of unspoiled shoreline. Located on the southeast side of Shasta Lake, at the base of the Pit River Arm, you can find Silverthorn Resort Marina. Shasta Lake offers something for everyone and Silverthorn Resort is the ideal setting for your summer memories.

Hiking, mountain biking, sightseeing, visit a waterfall, swim in a trout pond, and nature watching are just a few things other than the common activities of camping, boating, wakeboarding, skiing, and tubing that everyone enjoys.
For the fisherman, Shasta Lake has many varieties of fish which include: rainbow trout, brown trout, chinook salmon, largemouth bass, spotted bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, carp, Sacramento sucker, Sacramento squawfish, riffle sculpin, black fish, hardhead minnow, white sturgeon, channel squawfish, threadfin shad, white catfish, brown bullhead, golden shiner and green sun fish.
